WiFi is available throughout the building. Choose the connection 'Brooks Public' and accept our user agreeement to connect.
We have a fax machine for public use. The only charge is a 15 cent charge for the automatically printed receipt page.
Sharp Multifunction Printer
Make copies, print from a flash drive, wirelessly or a from a public access computer, scan to email, and more.
To print wirelessly, please send an email with a PDF or image attachment (.jpg, .png, etc.) to the correct email address for your document.

Your file will be sent to the queue at the print release station, where it will remain for 2 hours. Please follow the directions on the yellow card located at the printer station. Print jobs may be canceled from the queue if necessary.
27" iMac with Retina 5k display
This new specialized workstation is loaded with the full range of Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Utilize Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, and more. The iMac is available by request in the Reference area. Please use your own flash drive, external hard drive, or cloud storage account to save your work.
Lenovo Laptops (4)
These laptops include the Microsoft Office Suite and are available from the Circulation desk for an inhouse check out period of two hours.
Public Access Computers (6)
Computers are open to the public. If you're a guest, please visit the Circulation desk for access.
Three iPads and one Samsung Galaxy Tab (styluses included) are available for use in the library for two hours and can be checked out from the Circulation desk.
Kindle eReaders (6)
Each of our Kindles are preloaded with various titles, and can be borrowed for two weeks. For more information, see a staff member at the Circulation desk.
Epson LCD Projector and Screen
The projector and screen are available for a borrowing period of three days. Please call ahead or visit the Reference desk to place a reservation.
Microfilm & Slide Scanner
View past issues of The Brattleboro Reformer and other documents on 35mm microfilm, and digitize slides. Request use of this station at the Circulation desk.
USB Cassette Converter
Convert old tapes to digital formats. Borrow for two weeks from the Circulation desk, or visit the Reference desk to request inhouse use.
